Historical Trip to the Singapore History Museum
Tuesday, August 4, 2009 @ 11:02 PM
One word to describe it all.
Boring.
We just stayed in a room and answered questions.
While my group deliberately slacked,
Neomin's group participated enthusiastically.
Which really shocked me for something they all hate,
History. (Maybe only hor.)
So we went to this room where we listened to the biggest ipods
I've seen in my entire life. It was really, laggy.
So, eventually after the three hours of menacing torture,
we finally exited the Museum, while drinking my redbull of course.
While we were walking with the class to the Douby Ghaut MRT station,
I complained about the horrifying face I had to endure during the whole session.
Anyway enough about the menacingly horrifying and grotesque face,
We walked on and waved goodbye to our fellow classmates who went home,
straight after the trip to the Singapore History Musuem (Which was boring.)
After that we had a stroll to Plaza Singapura, and ate at the Cafe Cartel.
I wanted to treat myself to a Sirloin Steak, but too bad it was out of stock.
So instead of steak, i ate black pepper ribs. It came in a big plate,
but it never seemed to make me full. I didn't even bother to eat the coleslaw.
I paid $20 which made my wallet feel lighter as I gave all my 10 $2 notes.
That left me with $30 to pay for next month's concession fee, and a few spare notes.
So then we walked our way to the Dhoby Ghuat MRT Station.
The rest bought their MRT card, and waited for me at the counter,
while i topped up my card. Aww, ain't that kind of them ?
Anyways. We took the MRT to only one stop, which was City Hall.
Before taking the train which was supposed to bring us home.
So we skipped one train, as there were too many people inside of it.
Of course we took the next train as we wanted to get home asap.
When we were inside the train, it was really crowded.
I had to hold onto Huangcheng's shirt as a pole,
because the rest were near a pole and Anabelle's bag was blocking my face.
But not touching it. It was merely obstructing my way to hold onto a pole for support.
Anyways, Huangcheng complained about something he stepped on,
and I described it as a bubble tea pearl. Which rarely appears on MRTs.
So we went on talking about stupid and useless stuff, which were all funny.
One by one, we went off the train and waved goodbye to each other.
Me, Jabin and Anabelle alighted at the Tampines MRT Station.
After all, that's where we lived. Jabin and Anabelle walked home,
and as usual i bussed the 293 home. But when I reached home,
I just took off my shirt, took out my handphone and MP4,
and just plonked on the sofa, and slept for a whole good 1 hour.
When i woke up at 9pm, I played the computer.
Not much CS Servers online, which i would favour,
like de_dust2, which a max of 15 players or less.
So right now, i'm just blogging, and as usual,
I have nothing more I can say.
That's all for today,
